A Welcome Letter from our VP of Membership

Thank you for your interest in Polk Street Speakers Toastmasters. I'd like to take this opportunity to invite you to visit us.

Each Toastmasters club has a unique personality. In my opinion, our club offers some very special features and qualities.

1. Smaller club size means more opportunity to participate in the meeting roles and as a speaker.
2. Twice monthly meetings reduce the burden of attendance and the pressure to speak often, unless you want to.
3. Small groups make speaking easier - almost like talking to a very
   supportive group of friends.
4. Our mentor program provides a fellow Toastmaster to help smooth the path to your growth in Toastmasters.
5. Our club is well organized, meetings are productive, and we encourage a focused approach to all the members at their various levels of skill.
6. Polk Street Speakers is actively involved in TM opportunities beyond the club level.  Contests, training, volunteerism and leadership create additional growth opportunities.
   

Dale Carnegie instructors tell their students that Toastmasters is the best way to continue their growth and a lot cheaper!  We have all found Toastmasters to be an even bigger life experience than we imagined.
